With so many different serums on the market these days, it can be confusing as to what is the best one for your skin type, and also what concerns they treat. At Dr Warwick Nettle, we offer four serums which are used to combat different conditions in the skin. Our Cosmeceutical range contains pure essential oils and botanical extracts without artificial ingredients. Due to being purified, the products are at a higher concentrate, while being less irritating on the skin.

Vitamin A Boost contains Retinol to exfoliate the skin. Through exfoliating, we are able to absorb more active ingredients into the depths of the skin. Vitamin A is amazing at improving the texture of thick, dull skin, and those prone to breakouts and pigmentation. As well as being a high anti-oxidant, it also helps to brighten the skin. One thing to note with Vitamin A is that it should be introduced slowly into your skincare routine. Start by using it every third night, then gradually increase to every second night, then eventually nightly. Don’t use it in the morning as it can make the skin sun sensitive.

Vitamin B Boost contains Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), and six other Vitamins from the B group. Due to this complex of B Vitamins it has multiple purposes in the skin: A great enhancer to boost the skin’s hydration, to calm and sooth post treatment, lightening and brightening for pigmentation, whilst also giving an antibacterial effect to purify the skin from breakouts. It’s a great addition to any skin routine that can be used morning and night.

Vitamin C Boost contains a non-irritating oil soluble Vitamin C to prevent adverse reactions. It is a high anti-oxidant to protect the skin throughout the day, as well as giving hydration. Great for reactive skin types, Vitamin C targets flushing of the skin. This product contains a collagen stimulating ingredient that helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles whilst working on lightening and brightening. Best used in the morning followed by sun protection.

Brightening Serum is the most effective serum for treating pigmentation. Not only does it lighten the pigmentation that has already formed in the skin, but it also contains a tyrosinase inhibitor which helps to block the formation of new pigment. It can treat all forms of pigmentation from melisma, sun damage and also hyperpigmentation. It is recommended for people with a Fitzpatrick skin type of III or more to use 2-4 weeks prior to any intensive skin treatment in order to prevent any post inflammatory pigmentation from forming. It can be used both morning and night.

Dr Warwick Nettle Cosmeceutical Serums are available in our online shop and at our clinic.
