Dr Nettle’s Philosophy

The satisfaction of helping people recover from facial trauma drew Dr Warwick Nettle towards aesthetic facial plastic surgery, where he could apply his technical expertise and attention to detail, as well as his artistic eye. Dr Nettle’s philosophy is to create natural-looking results, leaving his patients feeling more confident and fresher, but still looking like themselves.

Training

Dr Nettle graduated from the University of Adelaide and did his early training in general and plastic surgery in Adelaide. Upon moving to Sydney he was the Senior Registrar in plastic surgery at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. After completing his plastic surgery exams in Australia, Dr Nettle undertook further training in the United States. Dr Nettle gained extensive experience serving at two of the most respected institutions in the US – the MD Anderson Cancer Centre in Houston, Texas, and the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in New York – before going on to establish his own practice, Dr Warwick Nettle, in Bondi Junction, Sydney.

Qualifications

Dr Nettle is a Fellow of The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery). He is a member of the Australian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS), Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ISAPS), American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) international member, Australian and New Zealand Head and Neck Surgery Society (ANZHNS) and is listed as a Realself Top Dr.

Dr Nettle’s opinion is widely sought by his peers and he regularly lectures to other Plastic Surgeons nationally and internationally. Dr Nettle’s particular interests is lecturing on hairline lowering surgery, refining eyelid surgery techniques, as well as eliminating the “facelifted” look in facial rejuvenation surgery.
