Dr Margot Campion
Cosmetic Physician MBBS, M.Med.Hum., Fellow CPCA
Dr Campion is a graduate of the University of Sydney Medical School and qualified as a medical doctor in 1984.
After completing her hospital training at the Royal London Hospital while living in London for 4 years, she relocated to the USA where she lived and worked for 10 years. Upon returning to Australia in 1997 she practiced at The Respiratory Institute at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, which is affiliated with the University of Sydney.
Dr Campion has practiced in the field of cosmetic medicine for over 17 years, including 6 years exclusively in a plastic/cosmetic surgery practice in Double Bay.
For the past 10 years Dr Campion has been an Associate in Aesthetic Medicine. She has a particular interest in facial fillers and anti wrinkle injections and is an advocate of the use of injectables to achieve a natural rejuvenating result by volumising lips, reducing shadows under the eyes and restoring volume in cheeks and around the mouth. Her interest also lies in the use of various laser treatments for tattoo removal, broken facial capillaries, skin rejuvenation, acne and rosacea, as well as laser removal of “age spots”.
Dr Campion was recently awarded a Master of Medicine degree in the field of Medical Humanities from the University of Sydney and is currently studying a Masters in the field of Bioethics at the University of Sydney which she hopes to complete within the next few years.
Dr Campion has also been a member of the advisory board for Allergen and has taught as a doctor trainer, teaching injecting techniques with fillers and anti-wrinkle injections. She has been a long term member of CPSA (Cosmetic Physicians Society of Australasia) as well as an Inaugural Fellow of the Cosmetic Physicians College of Australasia.
